developing African Turquoise Killifish, a vertebrate with the shortest lifespan that can be bred in captivity, as a new animal model for genetic studies of cardiac aging. Applications are invited from candidates who have a strong background in molecular biology, genetics and/or cardiovascular diseases. Previous experience in animal models of human diseases and/or bioinformatics such as single cell RNAseq data analysis are favored. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and have a strong commitment to basic research.
