Postdoctoral Scholar in The OSU Natural Language Processing Group
Two Postdoctoral Scholar positions are available in the Natural Language Processing Group co-led by Prof. Huan Sun and Prof. Yu Su in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University (OSU). These positions will conduct research on fundamental limitations and generalization failures of transformers as well as advancing the capability and safety of language agents. Responsibilities will include leading research projects, training graduate and undergraduate researchers, assisting the PIs with grant writing, participating in conferences/workshops to share research progress, and writing and publishing scientific documents.

Qualifications
Required:
Education: Doctorate in computer science engineering or related fields.
Candidates should have a strong research record in LLM-based agents, reinforcement learning, or large language models, preferably in areas closely aligned with the topics outlined above.
Desired:
We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher with strong communication and writing skills. Experience in mentoring graduate or undergraduate students is highly valued, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a large team. We particularly seek someone who is proactive, collegial, and eager to contribute to a supportive and intellectually vibrant environment.
