Post Doctoral Scholar
Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), the Postdoctoral Scholar will contribute to NIH-funded research projects focused on the molecular, cellular, and genetic mechanisms underlying cardiovascular disease. The research emphasizes vascular biology, intracellular signaling, and the integration of multi-omic data to uncover therapeutic targets in atherosclerosis and related conditions.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. (or M.D./Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Cardiovascular Biology, or a related field.
- Strong background in molecular and cellular biology, vascular biology, or nitric oxide signaling.
- Experience with laboratory mice, including handling, procedures, and tissue collection.
- Familiarity with sequencing technologies and bioinformatics is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Prior experience with heme proteins (e.g., cytoglobin) is desirable.
