Post Licensure APRN Adjunct Faculty

Position Summary

California Baptist University, an evangelical Christian university affiliated with the California Southern Baptist Convention, invites applications for the following faculty position. Qualifications

A master’s degree in nursing with a Nurse Practitioner (NP) focus, or a master’s degree in nursing with a post-masters NP certificate, is required; a terminal degree is preferred. Teaching experience is preferred. Candidates must maintain current direct patient care practice in their area of NP certification and have a minimum of one (1) year of direct patient care experience. An unencumbered California Registered Nurse license, California Nurse Practitioner license, and a national NP certification are required.

Teaching Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities can include, didactic, clinical oversight, and on campus skills day. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service activities that support the mission of the College of Nursing and the University.
