"Postbaccalaureate scholar"

We are currently inviting applications for our 2026 cohort of PREP scholars at Montana State University. Our program runs from June 1, 2026 until May 31, 2027 and will provide recent bachelor’s graduates with in-depth mentored research experience and career development training to qualify the participants for competitive PhD programs in the biomedical sciences. PREP scholars will work on individual research projects and participate in training activities in preparation for biomedical graduate degree programs.

We offer:

• One year of hands-on research experience with a dedicated mentor, starting June 1st.

Eligibility criteria:

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Graduating with a bachelor’s between May 2023-May 2026 in a biomedical discipline
• GPA of ≥ 3.0, improved GPAs considered
• Aspiring to earn a Ph.D.
