The Research Group Hybrid Material Systems is looking for

Postdoc (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

You analyse the chemical and electronic structure of modern semiconductors and interfaces (AR-UPS, CFS-YS, NEXAFS, and XPS).

You plan and conduct experiments (in labs and at synchrotron radiation sources).

You cooperate with other researchers, particularly doctoral students.

You take on research and project management tasks.

You curate data and prepare publications.

Your Profile

Completed doctoral degree in physics or chemistry
Expertise in semiconductor carrier and excitation dynamics
Demonstrated experience in research on perovskites and/or organic semiconductors
Demonstrated experience in global and deconvoluted data fitting, programming in Python and Matlab, as well as electronic structure modeling
Intercultural competence and excellent communication skills
Excellent proficiency in either German or English (C1), with good proficiency in the other language (B2)
