The Young Investigator Group Magnons: X-rays and Models is looking for

Postdoc (f/m/d) Development of X-Ray Spectroscopy Techniques for Magnetic Materials

Your Tasks

You will perform X-ray spectroscopy measurement at state-of-the-art large-scale facilities.
You will perform quantitative data analysis using programming languages such as Python.
You will perform preliminary calculations to interpret the results.
You will work in an interdisciplinary team with several other research groups in Germany and abroad.

Your Profile

Completed PhD studies in physics, materials science or similar
Excellent knowledge X-ray spectroscopy techniques (time resolved is well appreciated)
Good knowledge of programming
Knowledge in using programs like Quanty and Quantum Espresso are highly valued
Good teamwork skills and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary environment
Very good command of English (C1 level)
Experience in presenting scientific results and a strong publication record
