Postdoc (f/m/x) Iranian Jewish Studies
(36h, 90%)
Your Tasks
- Translation and transliteration of Persian and Judeo-Persian text
- Analysis of material culture (amulets, ritual objects)
- Development of an independent research project for application for Third Party Funding in the area of Persian Jewish History
- Contribution to project website and publications (book chapter, article)
Your Profile
- Completed studies preferably with promotion in the field of Iranian Studies
- Ideally several years of experience in the field of the history of minorities in Iran
- Excellent Persian and English skills needed

The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 70.167,44 (full-time based), in accordance with the collective agreement of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW). For part-time employment, the salary will be adjusted on a pro rata basis in line with the agreed working hours.
