Offer Description
National Institute of Research and Innovation (NIRI) - the leading drug discovery centre in the Baltic countries is offering One permanent position of PostDoc of Metabolic Research Group. The position is offered within the scope of European Regional Development Fund project TARGETWISE. The candidate will be responsible for conducting machine learning omics data analysis within the computational team. Benefits
- Basic salary EUR 56 880,- p.a. before tax (the estimated take-home pay (after tax deductions) is approximately EUR 2 500 per month), the salary is fixed as an hourly rate

Eligibility
We are searching for the candidate with
- PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, pharmacology, pharmacoinformatics or a related field.
- Established scientific record in both a biological discipline and bioinformatics/computational biology

- Motivation letter (up to 1 A4 page), particularly outlining experience in bioinformatics, data science and knowledge of omics data analysis;
- CV in Europass format, providing data of work experience, education, trainings and mobility, personal skills (language skills, communication skills, organization/managerial skills, computer skills), publications (indicating the contribution of applicant to the publication, number of citations, impact factor of the journal), SCOPUS ID or ORCID number, h-index, monographs, participation in international conferences (outlining the invited lectures), patents, projects (indicating the role of the applicant in the project), honors and awards, memberships, supervision and mentoring, teaching. CV should also include information about the applicant's three most significant publications, explaining their impact and importance in the field;
- Names and contact details of at least two referees who have agreed to be contacted;
