In the Department of Mathematics and Natural Science Applied in the Functional Analysis Group at the Technische Universität Ilmenau (Germany) is a vacancy for a PostDoc Position (f/m/d) to promote their own academic qualifications within the meaning of § 2 (1) of the German Academic Fixed-Term Contract Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz) from 01.12.2025.

Your profile

For being part of the selection process is needed: Completed excellent scientific university degree (Master/Dipl. (Univ.)) and doctoral degree in mathematics, working knowledge in English language. Following competences are desirable: strong background in mathematics, Excellent background and knowledge in: linear relations, spectral theory, perturbation theory, selfadjointness, unbounded operators, interested in actively collaborating and interacting with other researchers from control engineering, computer science, and robotics.
