Offer Description
We are looking for a motivated researcher with expertise in polymer synthesis who is eager to develop their career in a leading international research environment. Skills/Qualifications
Professional and Technical Skills
- A) Experience in synthesis of polymers for application in batteries, including electrochemical measurements, and/or B) experience in reversible deactivation radical polymerizations (preferably atom transfer radical polymerization).
- Experience in organic synthesis of small molecules
- Ability to independently interpret complex molecular characterization data, including NMR and GPC.
- Experience with flow chemistry is an advantage.
Language Skills
- English proficiency at B2/C1 level (written and spoken), with the ability to actively participate in scientific discussions, present research results, and independently prepare scientific publications and technical reports.
Personal Competencies
- High level of accuracy, innovation and analytical thinking, and attention to detail, particularly in the interpretation of results.
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to changing priorities within research projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within an international and multicultural research team.
Specific Requirements
- Publication record in the field of batteries and/or RDRP
- Independent laboratory work
- Regular study of literature
- Actively contribute to the design, implementation, and methodological development of research and innovation activities in advanced polymer materials.
- Participate in national and international research projects, communicate effectively with international collaborators, and contribute to the development of cross-border scientific partnerships.
- Present research findings at international conferences, prepare technical reports, publish in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and participate in science outreach and public engagement activities throughout the year.
- Keeping a clean working area
- Following safety work and internal rules

Selection process
In the first round of the selection process, all applicants who do not meet the requirements regarding professional and technical skills will be automatically eliminated. So please do not waste your time and ours if you do not meet the requirements! The remaining applicants will be invited to an interview, based on which the candidates will be ranked. Ultimately, only one applicant will be selected for the position.
