Offer Description
Solution of research and project tasks at the Department of Applied Mechanics in the field of mechanics of rigid and flexible bodies and applied mechanics.
Key responsibilities: Creative activity, theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of mechanics of rigid and flexible bodies, numerical analyses, experimental measurements and optimisation of mechanical systems, preparation and participation in projects, development of international and industrial cooperation.

Skills/Qualifications
- completed third-level higher education in a technical field of mechanical engineering (study programme mechanics and machine design, applied mechanics, etc.),
- prerequisites for independent teaching activity,
- focus in the area of creative activity on solving tasks in the mechanics of rigid and flexible bodies, knowledge and skills in the area of experimental measurements and experimental mechanics, knowledge of variational methods for solving mechanics tasks (finite element method, etc.),
- teaching, scientific research and publication activity, experience with publishing in scientific journals indexed in WoS and Scopus databases, publications published in WoS and Scopus databases, H-index 1 and above (WoS),
- practical knowledge of ANSYS, MATLAB software packages and MS Office tools,
- prerequisites for independent scientific research activity, experience in preparing and solving scientific grants and projects from practice, willingness to cooperate on research and educational projects,
- completed foreign study and/or scientific internships totalling at least 2 months,
- ability to work in a team, organisational and presentation skills.
