The call for applications for the 2026 Juan de la Cierva Grants has been launched within the framework of the State Programme for Human Resources, under the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2024–2027. The Juan de la Cierva Grants aim to support the recruitment of early-career researchers holding a doctoral degree, enabling them to further develop their postdoctoral research experience at Spanish research institutions. In this context, the University of Salamanca is seeking candidates interested in pursuing their postdoctoral research at the University.

Requirements

Research Field: All

Education Level: PhD or equivalent

Specific Requirements: Participating researchers must meet the requirement of holding a doctoral degree and having obtained it between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2026, for the general access track and the specific JDC-INIA-CCAA track, and between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2026, for the specific access track for persons with a disability of 33 percent or greater, except if they accredit a cause for interruption in accordance with the call.
