Job description

Shandong Institute of Advanced Technology (IAT) seeks candidates for positions of Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Associate working on superconducting detection technology and cryoelectronics, including the superconducting material, device, circuit, and system of superconducting transition edge sensor (TES), superconducting kinetic inductance detector (KID), superconducting nanowire single photon detector (SNSPD), superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID), etc. The positions will be primarily based at Jinan, China.

Qualification requirement

The candidates are required to carry Ph.D. degree in the research fields of superconducting material and device, electromagnetic field and microwave, radio physics, astronomical technology, nuclear technology, physical electronics, optical engineering, microelectronics, condensed matter physics, semiconductor material and device, etc.

Salary and welfare

IAT provides the following salary and funding depending on the academical achievements and potential of the successful candidates.

a) Senior research scientist: annual salary between 800,000 and 1200,000 CNY.

b) Associate research scientist: annual salary between 500,000 and 700,000 CNY.

c) Assistant research scientist: annual salary between 300,000 and 400,000 CNY.

d) Post-doctoral scientist: annual salary between 200,000 and 300,000 CNY.
