Position Summary
The Department of Bioengineering at Rice University seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Swingle Lab and conduct research at the intersection of biomaterials science, immune engineering, and reproductive biology. The postdoctoral associate will gain experience in nucleic acid therapeutics, the design and formulation of lipid nanoparticle drug-delivery technologies, and therapeutic applications in women’s health, including pregnancy conditions, gynecologic cancers, and reproductive disorders. The position will independently and collaboratively design, execute, and interpret experiments while contributing to an interdisciplinary research environment that values intentional, data-driven research, strong scientific communication, collaboration, and a welcoming laboratory culture.
Workplace Requirements:
This position is exclusively on-site, necessitating all duties to be performed in person at Rice University. Rice policy 440, work arrangements may be subject to change.
Hiring Range: $63,480
*Exempt (salaried) positions under FLSA are not eligible for overtime.
