Position Summary
Prof. Yuguang Chris Li in the Department of Chemistry seeks a postdoctoral fellow to develop plasma electrochemical approaches for a variety of chemical reactions. In this exciting role, the candidate will work on plasma and electrochemical system engineering and design, catalytic materials synthesis and characterization, as well as system scale-up and integration. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electroanalytical techniques (e.g., CV, EIS) for investigating reaction kinetics, along with diagnostic skills to probe plasma physics and species transport during reactions. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated hands-on experience in reactor system design or instrument development, as evidenced by publications, conference presentations, or demonstration projects.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- organize and implement research plans
- develop methods or research that incorporate highly specialized training in a specific specialty
- conduct tests procedures and engage in data collection
- analyze, evaluate, and present findings in professional journals and at professional conferences and meetings.

Minimum Qualifications
PhD in chemistry, physics, or related engineering field.
Salary Range
$47,500 - $55,000
