Postdoctoral Fellow - Applied Mathematics and Statistics

Salary: $63,480 - $100,000 per year
The Johns Hopkins University's Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics invites applicants for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow. The successful candidate will collaborate with Dr. Mauro Maggioni's research team on projects in the area of artificial intelligence and digital twins. The Maggioni team specializes in mathematical techniques for analyzing, modeling, and extracting information from large data sets in order to enable smarter machine learning algorithms and scientific discoveries.
The teaching load for this position will be no more than one course each semester, depending on funding and the needs of the department, so that the appointee will have ample time for research. The appointment is for two years, with the possibility of renewal, depending on funding availability.

Qualifications
