We are looking for a highly motivated scientist who will have completed—or will complete by Summer 2027—a PhD in plant biology, genetics, computational biology, genomics, or a closely related field. The successful candidate will have a strong record of research productivity, demonstrated through publications and/or completed research projects, and experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Photosynthetic phenotyping
- Genomics and/or transcriptomics
- Molecular evolution
The DeTar Lab offers substantial opportunities for cross-disciplinary training and development of an independent research program. The successful candidate will receive intensive mentorship from the PI while working in a collaborative research environment and interacting with an excellent department with a strong focus on evolutionary biology.
