Postdoctoral Fellow
Position Summary
The Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking applicants at the Postdoctoral level. The successful candidates must have a Ph.D. degree with a strong research background in neuroscience, molecular biology, immunology, genetics, or a related biomedical field. Experience in microglial biology, neuroinflammation, Alzheimer's disease (AD), mouse models, cell culture or imaging is highly desirable.
The postdoctoral fellow will join a multidisciplinary and dynamic research team focused on understanding the role of microglia in Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis and neurodegeneration. Ongoing projects investigate microglial signaling pathways, neuroimmune interactions, genetic risk factors, and therapeutic targets using state-of-the-art genomic, transcriptomic, imaging, and functional approaches.
