Postdoctoral Fellow PhD
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Summary
A Postdoctoral Fellow T-32 position is available at the Cardiovascular Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. The postdoctoral fellow will support the Principal Investigator to design, execute and control of laboratory research studies. They will assist in training and mentoring lab personnel, and day-to-day lab management and organization.
Job Duties
- Works independently within a dynamic multidisciplinary group.
- Reads and evaluates current scientific literature.
- Plans and conducts experiments, analyzes data, and presents findings regularly at lab meetings.
- Designs, executes and controls laboratory research studies.
- Contributes to manuscript preparation that includes generating figures, tables, and charts.
- Assists in training and mentoring lab personnel, and day-to-day lab management and organization.
- Possesses interpersonal skills to collaborate and communicate effectively with others.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
