NYU Shanghai is currently accepting applications for several postdoctoral fellow positions in Mathematics. Terms of employment at NYU Shanghai are comparable to NYU New York and other U.S. institutions.
Successful applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment. Postdoctoral positions are commonly offered for two years, and are potentially renewable for an additional year; they incur a teaching load of two recitations per semester.
Applicants will submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a statement on current/future research interests, a statement of teaching interests, and an electronic copy of three selected publications via Interfolio. Additionally, applicants should enter the names and email addresses of at least three referees. Each referee will be contacted to upload a reference letter through Interfolio.
It is strongly recommended to submit applications before December 1, 2026, even though later applications will also be given full consideration in case the positions have not been filled by that date.
