Eligibility
The general requirements for the postdoctoral positions are the following:
- Candidates must hold a recent PhD degree that is awarded within the previous 5 years or received before starting work at HSE University in one of the relevant disciplines by an international research university;
- Candidates graduated PhD programme with a strong research orientation in the field of application are more preferable;
- Fluent English is an obligatory requirement since all work and communications are conducted in English.
The hosting departments might have additional criteria.
Conditions
Postdoctoral fellowship appointments are made for one-year period, and may be renewed (no more than 2 times). All individual employment conditions will be reflected in the offer letter. HSE University provides excellent opportunities for international faculty. The postdoctoral fellow is expected to pursue his/her research interests under the supervision of the head of the hosting department or the project lead, and also work in close collaboration with the department’s ongoing projects. Application
The application process is being done online. The positions for postdoctoral fellowship in HSE University are posted on the website. Within the timeframe indicated in the employment advertisement, the applicant should provide a CV, a statement of research interest and a recent research paper through an open call via online application form. At least two letters of recommendation should be sent directly to the attention of the Review Committee at International Faculty Recruitment at fellowship@hse.ru before the application deadline. After all of the review steps, the final decisions will be made. In case of the acceptance, the selected candidates will be sent an offer for the position and all the relevant information.
