Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neural Engineering Section, Behavioral Neuroscience Research Branch
The Intramural Research Program (IRP), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), a research component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has two junior postdoctoral positions available to conduct research aimed at understanding neural mechanisms of motivated behavior. We seek candidates with experience in areas of behavioral neuroscience, systems neuroscience, or computational neuroscience.
The postdocs would be part of a multidisciplinary neural engineering group applying miniscope imaging techniques to study neuronal circuit function and dysfunction related to drug addiction.
The candidate should be self-motivated and is expected to work collaboratively. This opportunity is in Baltimore, MD. The annual stipend is based on standard NIH Intramural postdoc stipend scale.
