Offer Description
Activities and context: The selected candidate will be responsible for the development and standardization of an animal model of autonomic dysfunction, as well as for the analysis of the cellular and molecular consequences in brain nuclei involved in cognitive and autonomic processing, and for the assessment of behavioral responses in awake animals.
Mandatory requirements: Applicants must hold a PhD in Physiology, Pharmacology, Neuroscience, or related fields, with proven experience in experimental research. Required competencies include skills in vascular and brain microsurgeries in animal models, hemodynamic recordings, electrophysiology, behavioral testing, molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, confocal microscopy, and image analysis. Fluency in English and strong scientific writing skills are essential.
