Offer Description
Description of the research subject
This postdoctoral fellowship, funded by Institut d'Acoustique - Graduate School (École Universitaire de Recherche, EUR), aims to attract young researchers to the Acoustics Laboratory at Le Mans Université (LAUM, Le Mans, France) to conduct research and promote their progress toward scientific independence. The Acoustics Laboratory of Le Mans Université, with 160 members including around 70 permanent researchers, is a joint research unit (UMR 6613) between the Le Mans Université and the CNRS. It is the research entity of Institut d'Acoustique - Graduate School and a leading international laboratory in acoustics and wave physics, equipped with a unique set of experimental facilities. The recipient of this postdoctoral funding will conduct their research at LAUM, where they will have opportunities to interact and collaborate with researchers working in the laboratory's three teams.

A more detailed schedule will be established based on the profiles and projects submitted. The first few months will be devoted to defining and implementing methods to address the scientific issues raised by the project. The work carried out as part of the postdoctoral program must ultimately be published in leading scientific journals and the young researcher must participate in one or more conferences.
