PhD graduates should have experience working with transgenic mice, standard histological techniques, and patch-clamp recordings and a strong publication record in experimental neuroscience from their doctoral studies. Candidates should be adept at identifying important scientific questions, synthesizing scientific results and generating experimental plans.
