Position Highlights

The Song lab (https://songlab.arizona.edu) in the University of Arizona Department of Biomedical Engineering is hiring a postdoctoral fellow to advance regenerative therapies for spinal cord injury. Our group, fully funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH), develops neuromodulation devices integrating advanced materials science and stem cell therapy to evaluate their therapeutic potential for neurotrauma. We are particularly interested in candidates who have research experience in small animal models related to spinal cord injuries. The applicant is expected to have a strong background in relevant molecular and cellular assays and animal behavior testing. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct and analyze experiments, contribute to research proposals, presentations, and publications, and receive mentorship from the principal investigator.

Outstanding UA benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance; paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays; UA/ASU/NAU tuition reduction for the employee and qualified family members; access to UA recreation and cultural activities; and more!
