Carnegie Mellon University's department of Mechanical Engineering is searching for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing support by running neurophysiology experiments, analyzing data, developing and testing computational models, and writing papers.
- Set up and operate instruments for measuring electromyography
- Setup and operate instruments for performing neural stimulation
- Write and use custom software in Matlab to analyze data and run neuromechanics simulations
- Write summary reports of experiments and analysis in form of primary journal articles
Qualifications: Doctorate degree in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
