Additional Schedule Information: This is a full-time, 40-hour/week position. This position/appointment has funding available for 1 year beyond the start date, with the possibility of renewal based on job performance, the needs of the project, availability of financial support, and mutual supervisor/employee agreement.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Development of computational models for cell migration and cell stiffness. (60%)
• Testing of developed models and validation. (30%)
• Drafting and preparing papers outlining the research and findings for publication. (10%)

Position Summary: Incumbent will focus on the development and implementation of computational models for cell migration and cell stiffness modeling.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position: PhD in Engineering or related field. Experience with particle-based simulation of cell biomechanics.
