Job Description The Computational Mechanics of Morphology at Notre Dame (CoMMaND) Lab is soliciting applications for a postdoctoral position in the area of computational modeling of the developing brain. This project is funded by an NIH NINDS R01 and is undertaken in collaboration with an experimental group in Japan. The CoMMaND Lab is associated with the Department of Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering as well as the Bioengineering Graduate Program. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Postdoctoral applicants should have a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering, bioengineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications: The ideal applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a high level of initiative. Candidates with a background in computational solid mechanics and/or proficiency in Abaqus user subroutines, particularly the user element (UEL) are preferred.
