Postdoctoral Research Associate- obesity and cardiovascular disease
The Crewe lab uses transgenic mouse lines, cell culture, and biochemistry to understand extracellular vesicle (EV)-mediated signaling during homeostatic and pathologic metabolic regulation. Our work is focused on how adipocyte EVs signal to the cardiac tissue in obesity to modify cardiovascular disease.
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and team-oriented scientist who excels in a dynamic research environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong independence and critical thinking abilities. Applicants who are close to completing their Ph.D. are encouraged to apply.
Candidates must have expertise in at least one of the following areas: Biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, metabolic phenotyping in mouse models. The successful applicant will take the lead on projects that will include mouse metabolic studies, cell and biochemical assays.
