The Role

We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Mathematical Sciences, with an emphasis on generalized symmetries in the broadest sense.

The successful applicant will play an integral role in advancing the aims of the ERC consolidator grant Symmetries and Spectra, led by Prof. Mathew Bullimore.

This post is fixed term for 36 months.

The post-holder is employed to work on a research project led by Prof Mathew Bullimore. Whilst this means that the post-holder will not be carrying out independent research in his/her own right, the expectation is that the post-holder will contribute to the advancement of the grant through contributions to joint research projects and the development of their own research ideas.

Successful applicants will, ideally, be in post by 1st October 2026.
