Job Description
Grade UE01-10: £40,497 to £48,149 per annum
CSE / School of Chemistry
Full-time: 35 hours per week
Fixed-term: 3 years
The Opportunity:
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position to work under the supervision of Prof. Andrew Lawrence on a project funded by the Leverhulme Trust.
The successful candidate will work on projects focused on the total synthesis of complex natural products. You can find out more about the Lawrence research group at the Lawrence Group Website.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Applicants should have a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry (or have submitted a PhD thesis prior to taking up the appointment).
- You should be able to design and execute new synthetic sequences.
- A proven track record of successfully completing research projects.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
