NARSU Research Group (Macromolecular Laboratory) is focused on leading broad-based polymer research with the expertise in photoinduced polymerization processes and synthesis of nanomaterials, nanocomposites and bio-nanocomposites, surface modifications, synthesis of functional materials, and 3D printing, Drug-DNA interactions and hydrogels for drug delivery, at the Chemistry Department of Yildiz Technical University (YTU). The NARSU Research Group at YTU seeks Postdoctoral Research Associates with extensive experiences in synthesis, and characterization techniques of organic compounds and polymers, preparation of nanocomposites and bio-nanocomposites, mechanical properties of materials and cell-tissue interactions. YTU welcomes expressions of interest from experienced Postdoc candidates to apply jointly to the EU-funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2025 (MSCA-PF-2025).

NARSU research team has significant experiences in the following subjects:
- New functional polymeric materials and nanocomposites
- Polymers and Photoinitiators for 3D printing applications
- Photopolymerization reactions, Functional Coatings
- Photocurable hydrogels for tissue engineering
- Graphene based nanocomposites
- Gas sensors
- Functionalized nanocomposites for wastewater treatment
- Dielectric properties of composites and nanocomposites
NARSU research team seeks post-doc candidates who:
- holds Ph.D. in Chemistry and/or Materials Science or a related field,
- is experienced in laboratory research, in synthesis and characterization of organic compounds and polymers,
- has advanced knowledge of scientific research methodology,
- has strong scientific writing skills,
- has experience in a variety of research techniques/methods and follow-up data collection,
- has knowledge of laboratory safety rules and procedures.

- One-page Statement of Purpose (SOP) letter outlining the research area, project idea, and how he/she could contribute to the research profile of our group
- An academic CV (including a publication list and all academic activities)
