"Postdoctoral Research Fellow"

We are seeking a highly motivated and suitably qualified Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team and play a leadership role in our Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences (HOPE) Program of research and professional development. This research program is being conducted in partnership with the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Supporting Child and Family Health for Priority Populations and with Tufts University USA.

The successful applicant will support the development, implementation and evaluation of an Australian-adapted HOPE framework. This work will give particular focus to supporting positive outcomes for children and families who experience adversity and complex challenges.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Professor Rebekah Grace and Distinguished Professor Lynn Kemp.

Highly Desirable: Academics that have experience in health, education or human service practitioner spaces and experience or interest in working in cross-disciplinary ways for the benefit of children.

This is a part-time 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE), fixed-term opportunity for 3 Years. You will be based at Westmead Innovation Quarter, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required.

It is a mandatory requirement for any incumbent of this position to have a current NSW Employee Working with Children Clearance in accordance with the NSW Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.

Remuneration Package: Academic Level B $85,850 to $101,303 p.a. (comprising Salary of $72,545 to $85,661 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading). Please note - the above salary range is 0.6 FTE of the full-time equivalent rate.
