You will drive innovative research on revolving door lobbying, corporate political influence and public interest health policymaking. You will collaborate with internationally recognised interdisciplinary scholars, advance new research agendas, and build a competitive track record for future funding. What you will deliver:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on revolving door lobbying, including reviews, interviews, surveys and network analyses.
  • Coordinate project work packages with the project director and research assistant, ensuring milestones, ethics and timelines are met.
  • Lead selected work packages to publication, preparing high-quality manuscripts, policy submissions, reports and other research communications.
  • Organise and contribute to workshops, webinars and stakeholder events to disseminate findings and support policy engagement.
  • Build partnerships with government, civil society and professional groups to translate evidence and strengthen regulation of undue influence.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Hold, or are close to completing, a PhD related to corporate political influence or commercial determinants of health.
  • Demonstrate a growing publication record and clear evidence of high-quality research in relevant public health or policy fields.
  • Bring experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods, such as interviews, surveys, reviews or network analysis.
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, contributing to collaborative projects while also progressing independent research outputs.
  • Engage confidently with policymakers, practitioners, advocates or other stakeholders to build relationships and support research translation.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive research culture grounded in ethical practice, reflexivity and commitment to social justice.
