Skills/Qualifications
- Romanian citizenship, citizenship of another EU Member State, citizenship of a state belonging to the European Economic Area, or the right to work in Romania;
- Knowledge of the Romanian language, both written and spoken;
- Appropriate state of health for the position applied for;
- Fulfillment of the required educational qualifications and, where applicable, seniority or other specific requirements;
- No criminal conviction for committing an offense.
Specific Requirements
Graduate of long-cycle higher education, holding a bachelor’s degree and diploma in a biomedical field (biology, chemistry, biotechnology, medicine, biomedical sciences);
Completed PhD thesis in a biomedical field (biology, chemistry, biotechnology, medicine, biomedical sciences);
A minimum of 2 ISI-indexed publications in fields related to the project: genetics, epigenetics, inflammation, metabolic pathology, aging, arthritis, of which at least 1 publication as first author;
Previous experience in research on the molecular mechanisms of aging and in the analysis of omics data constitutes an advantage.

Competition Schedule and Location
Competition venue: “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy – Department of Medical Genetics, 6 Pasteur Street, at 8:00 a.m.
Application files must be submitted between 05.10.2026 and 09.10.2026, until 4:00 p.m., to DEPCDI, 4 Louis Pasteur Street, 3rd floor, Office 7.

The evaluation of application files will take place on 12.10.2026 at 10:00 a.m., and the results, indicating admitted/rejected, will be recorded in an official report.
The interview will take place on 19.10.2026. The maximum score for the interview is 100 points, and the minimum passing score is 50 points.
The results of each stage will be communicated to the candidates enrolled in the competition by email, by the end of the day on which the respective stage took place.
The deadline for submitting appeals is one working day from the date on which the result of each stage is communicated.
The final results will be communicated on the following working day, namely 22.10.2026.
