Postdoctoral Researcher in Addiction Implementation Science - Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine
Position Summary
The Postdoctoral Researcher will contribute to a funded research project on the implementation of evidence-based treatment for addiction in general medical settings. This includes planning and conducting research, writing and co-authoring papers, and delivering presentations on findings. This position creates a bridge between a doctoral program and full-time employment as a researcher, offering further training to individuals recently awarded a doctorate to prepare them for these responsibilities. This is a one-year term position with the possibility of extension for up to three years.
Position Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct original research projects focused on addiction health services, rural implementation science, and medications for opioid use disorder. Collaborate with research staff and students under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI).
- Perform statistical and qualitative analyses of research data.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in collaboration with faculty, staff, and students, and present research findings at professional meetings.
- Assist with grant and manuscript review.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- ABD applications will be considered.
Pay Rate
The approved salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000. Pay is commensurate with the candidate's education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position.

Work Schedule
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some after hours, weekend, and holiday work may be required. This is a one-year term position with the possibility of extension for up to three years.
