Postdoctoral Researcher in Anti-Jamming Signal Processing

The Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) carries out interdisciplinary research and education in secure, reliable, and trustworthy ICT systems and services.

The SigCom research group, headed by Prof. Symeon Chatzinotas, focuses on wireless/satellite communications and networking. Research areas include 6G networks, security, IoT, UAVs, satellite networks, etc. Technical enablers: signal processing, AI/ML, optimization. Supported by labs like COMMLab, 6GSPACE Lab. Your role

The successful candidate will join the SIGCOM Research Group and contribute to resilient wireless networks against jamming and interference. Design signal processing for detection, characterization, mitigation using multi-antenna techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop methods for detection/sensing, characterization, mitigation in dynamic environments.
  • Use theoretical signal processing and AI for decision-making in wireless and satellite systems.
  • Collaborate with international team.
  • Support ongoing activities.
  • Attract funding.
  • Publish in top journals/conferences.
  • Research dissemination.

Your profile

  • Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
  • Strong publication record.
  • Expertise in resilient networks, jamming detection/mitigation, multi-antenna processing, signal processing.
  • ML experience asset.
  • MATLAB/Python/ML frameworks asset.
  • Industrial/public projects experience desirable.
  • Teamwork, communication skills.
  • English fluency.
