At Adelaide University, we create the opportunities you need to achieve your ambitions because when you thrive, we thrive.
The Continental Evolution Research Group (CERG) specializes in constraining time-temperature histories of tectonic processes and associated mineralisation. We are revolutionizing the field of geochronology by developing new analytical methods to rapidly acquire dates within petrogenetic context. This Australian Research Council funded project focusses on the development of beta-decay geochronology applied to detrital sediments. We are seeking a motivated post-doctoral researcher to assist development and application of coupled Rb-Sr / K-Ca / Pb dating of K-bearing minerals and participate in collaborative research projects regarding the application of beta-decay geochronology.
