JOB /OFFER DESCRIPTION:The postdoctoral position is part of a research team in random matrix and random tensor theory based in France (Marseille, Grenoble, Lyon, Paris, Toulouse, Bordeaux) around the ANR TAGADA started on Oct, 1st 2025. The goal of TAGADA is to lay the foundations of random tensor theory and foster a multidisciplinary research community. We have identified three axis and research topics: quantum information theory(tensor norms, random tensor networks), data & learning (tensor moments of latent variable models, community detection on hypergraphs), free probability for tensors (strong convergence for tensor representations, tensors maps, eigenvalues and eigenvectors).

The ideal candidate has an excellent PhD in this or a related area, and brings strong experience and/or interest in at least one of the mentioned project topics. It is expected that the candidate will participate to the various events organized by TAGADA.

WHAT WE OFFER:Gross monthly salary from 2600 euros to 3000 euros, depending on previous experience.
