MISSIONS:
- Carry out research activities in theoretical quantum information, with a focus on bosonic quantum systems
- Carry out student supervision and tutoring activities
- Contribute to the visibility of Télécom SudParis, Institut Mines-Télécom, and Institut Polytechnique de Paris
ACTIVITIES:
- Carry out research activities in theoretical quantum information
- Investigate the mathematical and information-theoretic properties of bosonic quantum states and channels, with particular emphasis on non-Gaussian systems.
- Study and seek proofs of quantum entropic inequalities arising in bosonic quantum information theory, including inequalities related to the action of beam splitters and other physically relevant bosonic transformations.
- Develop new mathematical tools for the analysis of non-Gaussian bosonic states and channels, drawing on methods from quantum information theory, matrix and operator analysis, majorization, and related areas.
- Apply these results to the characterization of information transmission through bosonic quantum channels, in particular to the derivation of capacity formulas and upper or lower bounds on communication capacities.
