Offer Description
Postdoctoral Researcher (f/m, 1 position) for a term of 12 months, with possibility of extension up to 4 years.. The employment takes place within the theoretical research group, and the work will be focused on the development of the Diagrammatic Monte Carlo method and the Numeric X-propagators method, the analysis, processing, and interpretation of the obtained data, the preparation of scientific publications, and the dissemination of results.
The position will be supervised by Andrey Mishchenko, PhD (amishchenko@ifs.hr).
The candidate should be highly motivated to work on the assigned topic and have an excellent command of English. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated excellence and independence in their previous research work (project management, recognitions, awards, scholarships, published papers, presentations at conferences, etc.), as well as those with practical experience in working with Diagrammatic Monte Carlo and Numeric X-propagators method.
Mandatory requirement: completed doctorate in the field of natural sciences, physics.
