Position Summary

• Development of methods using light to control molecular parameters of polymer structure, including dispersity, tacticity, and co-monomer sequence.
• Characterizing polymer structure and studying its effects on material properties.
• Exploring applications of otherwise-inaccessible polymers.

Required Degree

Doctorate

Minimum Requirements

PhD in Chemistry and research experience in organic synthesis and characterization; demonstrated ability to design, execute, and communicate synthetic chemistry investigations independently and as a part of an interdisciplinary team.

• Demonstrated record of intellectual, experimental, and communication contributions to peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations
• Demonstrated record of positive mentorship of junior researchers
