Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Poutuia - Learning Designer to join Te Kōtuinga Mātauranga - Centre for Academic Development (CAD) team on a fixed-term, full-time contract until 27 November 2026. The role is flexible but does require in-person attendance at the Kelburn Campus of the University.

Key responsibilities:

• Learning design.
• Participate in the design, creation and review of courses/learning experiences.
• Provide expertise in the creation and use of learning objects and materials.

Ō pūmanawa - About you

You will be a motivated, customer-focused individual who can take the initiative, provide excellent learning design support.

Key requirements:

• Experience in modern/digital online modes of delivery and instructional design methodologies.
• A strong interest in educational design and delivery.
• Knowledge and commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
