Practice Liaison Officer / Research Facilitator
Applications are invited for a Practice Liaison Officer / Research Facilitator, to work within the Clinical Informatics and Health Outcomes Research Group (https://orchid.phc.ox.ac.uk) led by Prof Simon de Lusignan who is also the director of the Oxford-Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) Research and Surveillance Centre (RSC). The post provides an outstanding opportunity to undertake a pivotal role in creating strong relationships with Primary Care practitioners and external collaborators such as UKHSA and Research Delivery Networks to generate activity that contributes to research and surveillance data for analysis and interpretation.
The successful applicant will have a keen interest in building relationships with stakeholders ranging from Principal Investigators, participants in Patient and Public Involvement Engagement groups to Researchers and Data Scientists across the team. Responsibilities will include dealing with data from our Customer Relationship Management tool (Salesforce) to inform your work across the Oxford-RCGP RSC network. You must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing circumstances as required by our collaborators.
You will have experience in providing customer service particularly linked to the Primary Care sector and research and surveillance. You will have the capability to work in a flexible, fast-paced, ever-evolving, environment with strong attention to detail.
You will be based in the Gibson Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work but there may be the opportunity for occasional remote working as agreed with your line manager.
We have three positions available, starting October 2025 and funded until 31 March 2026.
