Position Summary:

AUIB is seeking a dynamic and experienced Practicum Coordinator to drive its mission of enhancing healthcare education and practice through innovative experiential learning. In this pivotal role, the Practicum Coordinator will develop clinical rotation programs, supervise preceptors, if you’re an innovative leader with a passion for advancing healthcare practice and improving patient care, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop structured clinical rotation programs for healthcare students in collaboration with professionals to provide practical learning opportunities.
  • Assist clinical preceptors in delivering effective mentorship during practicums.
  • Support the accreditation process for healthcare programs.
  • Participate in committee work at both the college and university levels.
  • Provide academic advising and support students in career development.
  • Assist the Dean with administrative duties, including student enrollment, program development, and strategic planning.
  • Support faculty with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare or health sciences-related fields.
  • Years of Relevant Experience: Minimum of 2 years in healthcare related discipline or business.

  • Familiarity with the American system of higher education.

  • Excellent communication skills in English are required.
