Job Duties

• Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, and students, and to the community at large
• Participate on University committees
• Review award notices of funding opportunities, requests for proposals to assure that the University community is aware of potential awards
• Manage pre-award activities, including proposal development and budget creation
• Review proposals for compliance with sponsor guidelines, institutional policies, and regulatory requirements
• Guide interested principal investigators, faculty, and research teams through the internal routing process
• Collaborate with principal investigators, faculty, and research teams to develop high-quality, competitive grant proposals
• Maintain accurate records of all pre-award activities, including grant proposals, budget modifications, and sponsor communications
• Work closely with the Executive Director of ORGSP and the Post-Award manager to ensure seamless transition and handoff of successful proposals
• Maintain a current and working knowledge of sponsor and federal regulations, policies and procedures by attending training, on-line training opportunities and through on the job experiences as coordinated with the Executive Director of ORGSP
• Provide regular reports and updates to the Executive Director of ORGSP on pre-award activities, proposal outcomes, and funding trends.
• Other duties as assigned
