Overview:
The School of Communication at the Royal College of Art interrogates the fundamental ways in which communication shapes our lives. By exploring new ways of communicating, the School aims to develop experimental and sometimes radical communication practices. Students and researchers have the opportunity to develop their careers as artists, communicators, curators, designers, and writers. They are encouraged to deeply focus on their work while being exposed to diverse positions within the School and broader societal, environmental, economic, and cultural issues.
Purpose of the Post:
The primary purpose of the Associate Lecturer (AL) position is to deliver high-quality postgraduate teaching for the Interventions elective unit. This unit invites students to propose interventions in response to one or more of the UN’s sustainability goals. The postholder will work with interdisciplinary groups of students from across the College's DDes, MFA, Med, and MRes programmes, facilitating their development of innovative and impactful communication practices.
