NWSC is a not-for-profit institution of higher education founded in 2008 with the dream of building a high-quality institution focused in the areas of science and healthcare. It believes in imparting education in an accelerated and affordable fashion, thereby relieving students of excessive loan burdens.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is a proven leader of higher education with experience in a private, small college environment and with passion for institution-building. S/he will provide transformational strategic vision to drive academic excellence, secure critical resources through financial stewardship and fundraising, and serve as a compelling advocate to foster strong stakeholder and community engagement. The individual must possess great professional skills to work with all regulatory bodies, include the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) and multiple accreditation agencies, while articulating a clear vision for the institution.
Qualifications: Eligible candidates must have a Ph.D./M.D. and 5 years of progressive experience in college administration including the management of accreditation, program-approval process from regulatory agencies, and fund development. Extensive teaching and research experience, a proven record of accomplishment in education, and business management is preferred.

Salary: $150,000 - $180,000; Salary is commensurate with experience; Final compensation will include a benefits package.
